MediLodge of St. Clair came out strong at the 5th annual “Mainstreet Memories Wheels on the Waterfront” car show this past Saturday. This event has been growing every year and this year was no exception. Almost 800 cars were present, food trucks, vendors and of course, lots of sunshine!
Julie and her daughter Regan came to help out along with Jessica and Leon to represent the building. MediLodge gave out almost 500 bottles of water to attendees for free. Dedication to keeping people hydrated in the heat! It was great to meet people, get the info out about our center and to enjoy a good old fashioned community event.
Proceeds went to help the Council on Aging in St. Clair County.

The staff was incredibly kind to my mom. I sincerely appreciate more than words can say the care you gave to my mom.”
Dear staff of MediLodge of St. Clair, Although your building is not the newest and most sparkly, the level of care my husband got there was top notch. I can’t say enough good about this nursing home. Also, thank you from the bottom of our my heart for allowing the level of support we had as family members. We received wonderful support and love right up until our loved one passed away. You have some wonderful nurses and CNA’s that can’t possibly get paid for half their worth. Like the card says…“You were a Blessing right when we needed it.” Thank you so very much for all your staff did for us.

"Thank you very, very much for the excellent care you gave our mother for the eight weeks she resided in your facility. On countless times she said, "They'll do anything for you," and "they take good care of me," and "Thank God for places like this." It shows the minute you walk in the door that the folks residing there are cared for, they're content, and their needs are met."
To the staff who volunteered to work in the COVID unit.. Kim and team! It is with heartfelt thanks and gratitude that I am writing you this message! From the bottom of our hearts thank you for taking care of our dad, Billie Moore, and showing him love and compassion in the final two weeks of his life! Love, Billie Jo Pabst & Tina Keegan (2 of his daughters) THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERYDAY!
" I would definitely recommend MediLodge of St. Clair to my friends and family. I heard they were the best, and although I can't compare to other facilities, I am very pleased."
I am so grateful for the staff that cared for my mom. They were phenomenal. Thank you to everyone who cared for her.
" I have never before this, seen a staff who all love their jobs. There is great communication and camaraderie between staff and residents. Call lights are answered promptly and cheerfully. I truly appreciate the wonderful care, the kindness you show everyone and all your efforts to make me comfortable. With my whole heart - I thank you and God Bless You!"
" The therapists were excellent; they worked me hard but got the job done!"

" To all the staff involved in taking care of Dolores Fox, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful care you gave to my Mother - in - law, Dolores Fox. Your gentle approach and caring touch provided such comfort to Dolores, especially in her final days. She always described the staff as "wonderful" and would tell us how kind everyone was to her. We want to especially thank those working the evening Dolores passed away. You helped to make our final moments with her very special and helped to ease our hearts as we said good-bye to her. Thank you to everyone for your compassion and caring hearts."
" I am glad there is a place such as this because there seems to be a great need for it. Everyone treated me very kindly."
